SHORE BASED DIVING VACATION

If spending the entire vacation at sea does not sound like you're kind of holiday, you may opt for a shore-based vacation.

Destinations

In Sharm, you may spend the nights in a hotel of your choice and take boat trips of two dives daily.        You will be picked up from your hotel each morning, transfer to the marina, returning to the hotel in the late afternoon hours.
This will allow you to enjoy the many things Sharm has to offer.

In the northerly town of Dahab you will find some other famous dive sites such as the Canyon and the Blue Hole.                               There are many more sites in and around this laid back small town,    all of them are accessible from the shore.                                          In some cases arrival to the dive site is possible only on a Camel's back- an experience in it's own right. In recent months a dive boat was introduced to the area and divers can now access some of the farther sites by boat.

Further north, in the town of Nuweiba you will find another unique Sinai experience- swimming with a wild female Dolphin.
The Dolphin named Ulin, left her pod and got attached to a deaf and dumb Bedouin fisherman. She comes and goes as she pleases and over the years had three babies.

In the Taba area, close to the peaceful border, lays the Pharaoh`s Island- a crusader fort that was conquest by Arab worrier Salah Al Din in the middle ages.
There are several interesting dive sites in the area, some can be reached from shore and some by boat.

Over, on the other side of the border, in the Israeli town of Eilat, there are some more dive sites to dive.    Moses and Joshua's rock, the caves, the sunken missile boat, Japanese Gardens and many more. Most dive sites in Eilat are accessible from shore.
