ABOUT US Matreef International Diving & Safaris, or in short-Matreef was created out of love of diving and the sea. Owned by Bassam Agbariya, a diving instructor who has 20 years of experience in diving the Red Sea, and Einat Regev a Chef and travel agent by her profession. Diving was, and still is, their passion. Back in the early 90`s friends would always ask to join them on one of their many spontaneous or preplanned diving trips to Sharm. This is how Matreef came to be. More and more friends wanted to join, and then came the friend's friends and they told their friends and thus by shear coincidence it all started... Now with a boat/dive center in Sharm and a dive center in Israel, many people have had their Matreef diving holiday many of them come back every year. If you are wondering about the meaning of the name - Matreef means "we dive you crazy" (and that's a promise).
